We are looking for a Marketing & Sales Manager to lead our efforts in driving awareness, generating leads, and converting opportunities into successful client relationships. You will play a key role in promoting our platform, building relationships, and expanding our presence in the market.


Responsibilities:

As a Marketing & Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing and sales strategies that position our satellite imagery platform as a leader in the ag-tech, commodity trading, and insurance markets. Your key responsibilities include:

Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with business goals, focusing on lead generation, brand positioning, and market awareness.
  • Create marketing content (e.g., case studies, blog posts, whitepapers, webinars) that demonstrates the value and unique features of the platform, especially in the context of satellite imagery, AI, and predictive analytics.
  • Manage digital marketing channels (e.g., social media, email campaigns, SEO/SEM) to drive traffic and engagement, with a focus on customer acquisition in key industries.
  • Collaborate with the product and technical teams to develop product marketing materials that clearly communicate the platform’s features and benefits to different target audiences.
  • Oversee the development of marketing collateral, presentations, and website content that supports the sales process.
  • Analyze marketing performance metrics and adjust campaigns as necessary to improve conversion rates and ROI.

Sales Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy focused on acquiring customers in the agriculture, commodity trading, and insurance sectors.
  • Generate leads through targeted outreach, inbound marketing, and networking, and manage the sales funnel from initial contact to closing deals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in target markets, including farmers, agribusinesses, commodity traders, and insurance companies.
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demos for prospective clients, tailoring messaging to highlight how our platform can solve their specific business challenges.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with potential clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing support for new clients.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends, industry news, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and adjust the sales strategy accordingly.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing and sales, with a strong focus on B2B technology products, ideally within the agriculture, commodity trading, or insurance sectors.
  • Proven track record of developing successful marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness and generate leads in data-driven industries.
  • Experience in sales strategy, including lead generation, client engagement, and closing deals with enterprise customers.
  • Strong understanding of satellite imagery, geospatial data, or ag-tech platforms is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience managing digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, Mailchimp) and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho) to track and manage leads.
  • Ability to analyze market data, identify growth opportunities, and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment, with a focus on delivering measurable results.
  • Bonus:
