To support our growth and ensure the reliability of our platform, we are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect \/ DevOps Engineer<\/strong> to design, implement, and manage a robust cloud infrastructure for processing and analyzing large-scale geospatial datasets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a Cloud Architect \/ DevOps Engineer<\/strong>, you will be responsible for the design, deployment, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability. Specific responsibilities include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure<\/strong> for the storage and processing of large satellite imagery and geospatial datasets using AWS<\/strong>, Google Cloud<\/strong>, or Azure<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Build and manage CI\/CD pipelines<\/strong> to automate deployment, testing, and integration processes, ensuring smooth delivery of features across environments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Optimize the platform\u2019s performance and scalability<\/strong>, ensuring it can handle growing amounts of real-time data from satellite sources and machine learning models.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Work closely with backend developers<\/strong>, data scientists<\/strong>, and GIS specialists<\/strong> to ensure seamless integration between cloud services and the platform\u2019s core functionality.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Implement best practices for security<\/strong>, data protection<\/strong>, and compliance<\/strong>, including monitoring access, encryption, and backups of sensitive geospatial data.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Manage containerization<\/strong> and orchestration tools<\/strong> such as Docker<\/strong> and Kubernetes<\/strong> to deploy and scale microservices and applications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Set up and maintain monitoring systems (e.g., CloudWatch<\/strong>, Prometheus<\/strong>, Grafana<\/strong>) to ensure high availability and performance of the platform.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Optimize cloud costs<\/strong> by managing resource allocation, usage monitoring, and designing cost-efficient architectures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure issues, ensure uptime, and develop disaster recovery plans to mitigate risks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • 3+ years of experience<\/strong> in cloud architecture and DevOps, with a focus on building scalable, secure cloud environments for data-intensive applications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Expertise in AWS<\/strong>, Google Cloud<\/strong>, or Azure<\/strong> platforms, with proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud-native applications<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Strong proficiency with infrastructure-as-code<\/strong> tools such as Terraform<\/strong>, CloudFormation<\/strong>, or Ansible<\/strong> for automating the deployment of infrastructure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Experience with containerization<\/strong> and orchestration<\/strong> tools (e.g., Docker<\/strong>, Kubernetes<\/strong>) for deploying and scaling microservices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Knowledge of CI\/CD pipelines<\/strong> and automation tools<\/strong> such as Jenkins<\/strong>, CircleCI<\/strong>, or GitLab CI<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Experience working with large-scale geospatial datasets<\/strong> or satellite imagery processing pipelines, with knowledge of tools such as PostGIS<\/strong>, GeoServer<\/strong>, or GDAL<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Strong understanding of security best practices<\/strong> in the cloud, including encryption<\/strong>, IAM roles<\/strong>, network security<\/strong>, and data governance<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Experience with monitoring and alerting systems<\/strong> (e.g., CloudWatch<\/strong>, Prometheus<\/strong>, Grafana<\/strong>) to ensure platform reliability and performance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Familiarity with cost optimization<\/strong> strategies for cloud infrastructure and ability to manage resources effectively to balance performance and expenses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
