We are looking for a creative and experienced UI\/UX Designer<\/strong> to craft intuitive and visually engaging user interfaces that simplify the complex data and insights derived from satellite imagery. You will work closely with our product team<\/strong>, developers<\/strong>, and data scientists<\/strong> to create a user experience that is both powerful and user-friendly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a UI\/UX Designer, you will be responsible for creating and enhancing the user interface and overall user experience of the platform. Your key responsibilities include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Design user interfaces<\/strong> for the satellite imagery analysis platform, focusing on delivering intuitive<\/strong>, clean<\/strong>, and engaging experiences<\/strong> for end users in agriculture<\/strong>, finance<\/strong>, and insurance<\/strong> sectors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Create wireframes<\/strong>, prototypes<\/strong>, and high-fidelity mockups<\/strong> to communicate design concepts and collaborate with product managers and developers to implement those designs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Focus on data visualization<\/strong> and geospatial interfaces<\/strong>, ensuring that satellite imagery, charts, maps, and insights are presented clearly and are easily interpretable by non-experts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Conduct user research<\/strong> and usability testing<\/strong> to understand customer needs and pain points, and iterate on designs based on feedback to improve usability and engagement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including backend developers<\/strong>, frontend engineers<\/strong>, and GIS specialists<\/strong>, to ensure that the designs align with the platform\u2019s technical capabilities and constraints.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Establish and maintain a design system<\/strong> and UI\/UX guidelines<\/strong> to ensure consistency across the platform.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Ensure responsive design<\/strong> and cross-browser compatibility<\/strong>, providing a seamless experience across desktop and mobile devices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends<\/strong> in UI\/UX design, data visualization, and geospatial tools to continuously improve the user experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Lead the creation of user flows<\/strong>, journey maps<\/strong>, and personas<\/strong> to guide the development of user-centric features.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • 3+ years of experience<\/strong> in UI\/UX design, with a portfolio demonstrating expertise in designing web-based applications and data-driven platforms<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Strong experience in creating interactive, data-rich interfaces<\/strong> with a focus on data visualization<\/strong> (charts, maps, dashboards).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Proficiency in design tools<\/strong> such as Figma<\/strong>, Sketch<\/strong>, Adobe XD<\/strong>, or InVision<\/strong> for creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Experience in user research<\/strong>, usability testing<\/strong>, and design iteration<\/strong> based on user feedback.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Understanding of frontend development principles<\/strong> (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and experience collaborating with developers to bring designs to life.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Familiarity with geospatial data<\/strong> and experience working on platforms that handle map-based interfaces<\/strong> (e.g., Leaflet<\/strong>, Mapbox<\/strong>, Google Maps APIs<\/strong>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Strong understanding of responsive design<\/strong> and experience creating mobile-friendly<\/strong> interfaces.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Excellent communication skills<\/strong> with the ability to present design ideas and rationale to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
